My friend Clayton takes pictures of church marquees that have nonsensical or cliche or confusing messages.
ReplyDeleteThe one he snapped the other day said, "THE BEST IS YET TO BE" which is an odd way of saying, "THE BEST IS YET TO COME". But maybe, I started thinking, some letters fell off the bottom row, which was empty. So I started wondering what the missing word was.
